UR

synopsis

An allegory for sustainable economics.

The story of a peasant family who lived on the edge of the Urumea river has inspired us to begin this journey of creation. Their confessions have moved us, delighted us, and enraged us. But above all, they made us think.

Build yourself by building your house. Our house, our second body.

The work of the human chain: Covering the river, digging the mountain, cutting off the summit: railroads, trucks, crematorium, airport… built house has been demolished.

A painful process of awakening: learning the body, discovering the pain by rebuilding the house.
