Lau eme

synopsis

The company’s proposal gives visibility to women and demonstrates the struggle they have had to undertake in the search for their empowerment.

A live voice, a meticulous search for movements and a forceful aesthetics make the piece a work full of sensations.

Lau eme begins by remembering those women who were apparently perfect but at root submissive and repressed. It then continues with a journey of sensations, which reflect the advances that, through history, have had to be made in order to become the women of today. Women who have apparently managed to become valued in the workplace and who have a voice and the vote in a society which, in turn, does not cease to judge them.

BUT HAVE THE REASONS TO CONTINUE WITH THIS STRUGGLE DISAPPEARED?
